PURINA® has partnered with Cats Protection for more than 35 years and throughout this time we have received support for a variety of our initiatives and campaigns to promote responsible pet ownership. In 2017 we launched a joint campaign called Every Cat Deserves to help raise awareness about pet adoption and our partnership. As part of the campaign PURINA® provided a million meals for cats in our care.
We are delighted to have Purina® as official sponsor of the 2017 National Cat Awards for the sixth time and we are pleased that their support will continue for a further four years until 2021. As a sponsor PURINA® sends communications to their customers to encourage submissions to the National Cat Awards and increase the awards’ awareness and reach.
PURINA® also provides subsidised food for cats in our care at adoption centres and branches across the country.
Petplan has supported Cats Protection for over a decade. Thanks to this partnership, Petplan has given over £5 million to Cats Protection providing us with valuable funds to continue our work helping to care for and rehome cats across the UK. Find out more by clicking here
Petplan® have also supported our Manifesto for Cats and Welsh Manifesto for Cats.
Petplan® is a trading name of Pet Plan Limited who administer the cover and Allianz Insurance plc who provide and underwrite the cover.
Pets at Home & Support Adoption For Pets
In 2006 Pets at Home founded its own independent charity, Support Adoption For Pets, and both are big supporters of Cats Protection.
The charity offers Grant Funding and partners our branches with their local stores for fundraising and awareness events. Pets at Home also donate stock supplies and run annual fundraising weekends for Cats Protection across all stores. Together with the proceeds from the five fundraising weekends we have now raised more than £200,000! We also continue to be supported through Pets at Home’s Very Important Pets Club (VIP Club).
